Aloha Festival

Today we had a nice pancake breakfast and mommy let daddy sleep in. Saya watched cartoons and played with all her toys. Lately she has been playing with toys and reading books on her own. Something has changed in her playing routine but it's been fun watching her develop and pretend. She can now tell stories and explain things quite well to everyone. Then we cleaned up and changed and played some more before lunchtime. Saya barely ate her lunch so mommy made a smoothie for her. She loved it! Then we got ready and packed to head to the Aloha Asian Festival in Boulder. We got to the festival and walked around. Saya wanted to listen to some music so we sat down and listened to a Hawaiian singer. We also watched hula dancers do their thing but the shaved ice guy just returned back to his truck so we had to get some. It was a self serve syrup thing which worked out great. Saya loved it! Then we walked around all the booths and then stopped to eat our shaved ice when the lion dancers passed by. Saya was all into it and wanted to see more so we went to the other stage and watched them perform. We also saw our friend who had a booth selling bento boxes and said hello. Then we walked some more and passed by the fountains and Saya decided to finally try it. She loved it and got super duper wet. Luckily we had towels in the car for some odd reason and we dried her off. We then headed towards Avery Brewery so daddy could get some beer but he was embarassed to be bringing his pregnant wife and half naked daughter so he wanted us to stay in the car. It was way too hot for us to stay in the car so we walked out too. Mommy carried Saya without a shirt on and headed to the tap room. Saya didn't care and neither did mama. We just sat and looked at all the decor while daddy did his thing. Saya wasn't tired on the way home so it was a long day of playing and hanging out before dinner and bedtime.
