J School- Worth it?

Today we headed off to Japanese school after breakfast and we had snacks in the car thinking that would give Saya enough energy to hold through the class. WRONG! She was super tired after 10 minutes in the class and mommy had to take her out of the class for about 10 minutes before she was ready to go back inside. We played with handkerchiefs and dolls and read stories before doing our craft of watercoloring vegetables. This part Saya was really interested in. She was very adamant of doing this herself and mommy could not help one bit. Soon it was time to wash hands and then snacktime but today we celebrated 2 other kids birthdays so we had homemade cupcakes. Super yummy! Saya loved it and devoured it and also wanted some of mon mmy's cupcake too. Then we had our regular snacks and Saya was happy as a clam. She played with the other kids and ran around the classroom before giving everyone a hug and saying goodbye. Mommy was tired and ready to head home and soon Saya followed. We got home and Saya played with daddy while mommy made lunch. We had a nice ramen lunch and then we had a nice bath afterwards to get rid of all the germs from school. It seemed to calm her down enough for naptime. Whew!

Playing with play foods.

Playing peek a boo with a handkerchief and doll.

So over story time.

Stamping her progess sheet.

Yeah watercolors.

Snacktime started off with cupcakes.

Is it time yet?

Chowing down unlike the other kids who carefully ate their cupcakes.

Here goes another bite!

Back at home and ready to play with daddy.
