It's Halloween!

On Monday, we had a great day. We started off with a nice spooky breakfast and then got ready to head to the park to meet up with friends. We got to the park and played on the swings and slides. We also got a chance to ride the Strider outside for the very first time. This was Saya's 1st time she really "rode" the Strider since her birthday. She fell of it once and scraped her knee so it's hard to get back on it. But she had a great time outside and is eager to ride again. This time we will get her a helmet just in case she bonks her head and a little bell to go on her bike since she loved her friend's so much.

We got home and had some lunch and then it was time for a late nap. Saya got up about an hour or so later and when she woke up daddy was already home. We then headed off to King Soopers to buy some milk and yogurt. Saya had to get her own shopping cart but kept leaving it everywhere so mommy held Saya while pulling 2 shopping carts. Didn't know that was possible. We rode the horse 2 times and then headed home to prep for dinner. Daddy took Saya out to see all the Halloween decor while mommy cooked. Then we quickly ate dinner so that we can take some pictures in daylight before the sun set. Then about 10 minutes later and diaper change we headed out the door for some more trick-or- treating. Saya had a blast but wore out quite fast. We got home and she enjoyed giving kids candy and sometimes hugs. It was too funny. The dogs went crazy as always and then it was time to wind down for bedtime. Saya didn't count her candy but she dumped them all out and smelled each one and tried to taste them through their wrappers. It was a great night and can't wait till next Halloween.

We do need help passing out candy while we go out trick-or-treating so if you would like to volunteer, please let us know.

Good morning! Happy Halloween! Saya enjoying her bat headband from Target.

Boo! Ghost toast for breakfast.

Enjoying the playground with friends.

Yeah for the Strider.

Getting ready to roast pumpkin seeds with mommy.

Sprinkling salt on the seeds, or beans (Saya calls them beans). Saya attempted to put the salt on the seeds but 90% ended up on the table or the floor.

Saya helping to clean the floor.

Daylight Halloween pictures.

Getting a ton of candy from our neighbor.

Enjoying the Halloween decor.

Still hanging onto her candy.

Ok, more candy

Pose in front of Spooky Town with mommy.

Zombie anyone?

More decor.

Back at home for a quick diaper change before officially starting to trick-or-treat.

Enjoying one piece of chocolate before heading out.

Want some?

Saya didn't want to walk most of the night. Daddy's arms were sore from carrying her everywhere.

Yeah!

No matter how tired she was, Saya didn't let go of her pail.

Getting ready to look at the contents of her pail.

Woo...

Sniffing each one.

Sorting into piles.
