Dog Walk & Library- Potty Reward Night

Today we decided to head out to walk the dogs as early as we could. We stopped at the Broadlands playground for a bit to get some energy out. Saya mainly wanted to swing most of the time. Then we headed back home - kiddo and dogs were very tired from the heat. We got home and had a popsicle before heading out the door for the library. We got all of our books together and Saya was eager to go. We got our summer reading program certificate and last prize. Saya got a Benihana kids meal ticket and a free book. We checked out a bunch of books and then headed into storytime but Saya was just too tired and so we left and got more books and dvds before heading home. Saya fell asleep in the car and woke up just in time for late lunch and daddy got home early from work. Mommy and Saya headed to Costco to get some last minute groceries for the 4th bbq and then came back for dinner that daddy prepared. We ate pretty fast and then headed over to Cold Stone Creamery for a yummy cold treat. Saya went potty without any resistance for 4 days straight so we decided to try rewarding her after a few days instead of one candy after every time. She loved her chocolate ice cream with gummy bears. daddy got banana with coconut which he liked. Mommy got a bit of both. Yum! We should get treats more often. It was a great night but had to end it quickly as Saya was super duper tired after her sugar rush ended.
