Turley's, Long's Garden & Plant Sales

On Saturday, we got an early start and headed out to Turley's for a mother's day brunch after Saya ate her breakfast. It was nice to get out and have someone else cook for you. Mommy was toast after one mimosa. Saya enjoyed her crayons and drew almost everywhere, definitely not a good thing. We then headed to Long's Gardens to check out some of the iris' but most were not blooming and it costs $6.50-8.50 to dig one iris up to take home. So we just took a look around and in the back of the house we found 3 deer. We all got excited about the deer and forgot about the iris'. We saw some signs for a plant sale on the drive back so we stopped at the Growing Gardens and took a look and purchased a couple plants for our friends, one called the Patty Pan squash. We got home and it was nap time for Saya and then lunch. We pulled some weeds and then soon it was time another nap, didn't happen actually. We played inside a bit more and then our neighbor brought us a nice cake he made and it was time for dinner. After dinner we headed outside in the rain to stomp in some puddles. It was a bit cold so we didn't stay out for long and headed inside for a nice warm bath before bed. Saya was super happy since the movie of the night was "Tangled" her favorite.
