Heading Home

Today we woke up around 6am and got breakfast ready while packing up the car to head home. We had a quick breakfast of oatmeal and coffee and got in the car to head home. The kids were tired and the adults were ready and wiped. I don't think I need to see anymore sand for a long time. I think we all felt that way after 2 days of nothing but sand. Saya did well in the car on the way back and wanted to play outside in the backyard once we got home. She also seemed to have missed her toys and crib and greeted all her toys. The dogs were happy that we were home and soon we were back in our daily routine again. Thank goodness!
Mommy and daddy got to take much needed showers and feel so much cleaner and Saya got a nice long bath which helped a ton as she had sand and dirt all over her.

Happy to be home.

Note to self: Camping with a toddler isn't easy. But it's not so bad if you work as a team. Debating on if we should go camping again. Perhaps we should wait till Saya is older.

Last look at our campsite.

Reading a book with auntie and baby in the car.

Passed out on the way back home.

Attempted to put on her sunglasses.

The new potty arrived.
