Playground Playdate

On Thursday we met our friends and headed off to the playground. It was a really nice day and the girls+mommies had a great time. Saya fell asleep on the walk back and woke up when we got home. We took a walk in the backyard and played with new hairdos. Saya has really fine hair so it's hard not to get her hair tangled while using rubber bands and she moves around so much it's hard to do much of anything. Our friends had a cute hairdo so we tried one too. It didn't last long before Saya took hers out but it was worth a try. We also gave Saya her own drawer as she always wanted one. We filled it with all her stuff like spoons, forks, bowls and plates. We also included some wash towels as we use a ton to clean Saya up.

Starting off the morning with pancakes and bananas.

Brushing her own teeth.  Note to Saya: Hope one day you'll like brushing your teeth. Mommy and daddy wishes for a evening brushing where you don't kick and scream.

At the playground with a friend.

Swings.

Huge playground. Don't know where to start.

Went down the slide and lucky stopped in time.

Wondering if she should go down the slide.

Saya learned to go down feet first.

Walking on the bridge. Mommy was more nervous than Saya.

Placing pea gravel on the steps and pushing them through the holes. Seemed kind of fun, wish mommy could have done some too.

We got home and Saya woke up just as we parked in the garage. She seemed a bit hot in her outfit so mommy stripped her down to her onesie and put on boots. It's a funky outfit but it worked.

Saya and Bella best friends.

Saya's pigtails.

Saya played with her food in a mixing bowl.

Saya's own drawer.

Edamame success! Saya finally ate an edamame. She normally spits it out but today she ate it.
