Groceries & Setsubun

Today we stayed at home. Saya said that she just wanted to stay home so we did. Mommy was not in the most patient mood today. So we did some crafts in the morning and made Setsubun Omens. Then we had a tea party on the floor and then got ready to head to the grocery store. We got there and Saya got her own shopping cart. She was trying to get a twisty tie out of her little cart and supposedly used her foot. She fell backwards and her foot was stuck in the cart. Fortunately, she was ok and no injuries. We went around the store looking for items on our shopping list. Someone must have given Saya some sugar as my kid was running around with her cart faster than the speed of light. She rammed into me many times but mommy had to put a stop to it quickly. Then we stopped to look at cards and books and then for Easter and St Pattys' day goodies. Yes, our shopping took over an hour for a few items. Meisa started to cry so we rushed out but not before unloading all the garden seeds. Saya had to put them all back so with mommy's help it took a long time. Then Saya helped check out items so it took a LONG time. Overall, mom's nerves were fried so mom grabbed both carts and Saya's hand and we kept going.
We got home and then had some lunch and then decided we needed outside time. Mommy decided to take Saya on a tricycle ride around the block. Meisa kindly fell asleep in the Ergo on the walk. Saya got tired so mommy carried the mail and tricycle all the way back home. Yes, mommy is super strong and carries a ton of stuff. Most of the time it's 2 kids.

We got home and played with sidewalk chalk and then came in for some quiet time.

Meisa Update:  No more infant support netting in the blue tub. Lots of splashing no matter how little water in the tub. Time to start her in the big tub.

Mom realized that this time with the kids is short. So it's time to focus only on the positives. It's time to take a bunch of family pictures too.

And I keep forgetting to write- We love you Meisa!
