Airport Day & Pot Pie

Saturday started off with mommy and Saya letting daddy sleep in. We made coffee and a pancake breakfast for daddy. We got ready and then headed off to Boulder for Airport Day. We got there around 10am and saw all the different airplanes and rescue trucks. Saya was a bit shy around the rescue crew which is so funny since she's always so social. Then we walked around and then Saya got to see a world war II fighter plane. We looked at every single plane and saw some taking off and landing. We all had a nice relaxing time and then headed back to the car so that we can grab some lunch. We stopped at the 29th street mall for a tasty lunch at Pei Wei. Saya loved her noodles and mommy had mongolian beef while daddy decided to skip on lunch. We got home and kiddo was tired and took a nap. Mommy took the dogs for a walk around the lake which was a crazy idea but did anyways. Then daddy laid out some mulch in the front yard. Saya got up and we made daddy's chocolate cake which overflowed in the oven. Saya and mommy had to grab a few things at the store so we ran to King Soopers and did some shopping. We got home and mommy made chicken pot pies for dinner. After dinner we all decided to frost the cake. Saya loved the frosting and couldn't stop licking it. We all enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert.

There was a major sugar high so Saya rode her scooter around the neighborhood and that seemed to do the trick. Time for bed and we packed for our trip to Brainard Lake tomorrow.
