The Horrific Flight to OAK

It was an early morning start to a horrific flight to Oakland to visit Shiho and Alex. Saya was super excited to fly in an airplane and discover the airport. It all started well except for when we got on the plane. Saya was super duper tired and nothing could comfort her. She was a lap child so she had to sit on mommy's lap during landing and take off but that didn't seem to happen. She was to tired to stand and mommy didn't want to let her lay down on the floor. The couple next to us didn't seem to like kids and were extremely bothered. It was a long 2.5 hour flight. We landed and mommy hoped for some coffee on the way to the baggage claim but no such luck. Shiho and Alex met us at the baggage claim and a huge sigh of relief for mommy. We loaded the car and heade to the Westside Cafe for a small bite to eat, which Saya loved. We then grabbed some groceries for the week at Berkeley Bowl. Mommy spend 100 dollars there- but well worth it. Auntie Shiho and uncle Alex had to work so Saya and mommy stayed home and watched Hotel for Dogs and made dinner- Omurice. Uncle Alex got us some take out from a Vietnamese restaurant and mommy and uncle had a late dinner. We then got ready for bed and auntie got home. Saya was so excited she couldn't sleep in her peapod.  Saya was so tired later than she slept in the Peapod but as morning arrived it was too cold so mommy put her in the bed with her.

On the plane to OAK. Not the easiest flight but mommy can handle almost anything after this flight.

In the car with auntie and uncle. Saya is nice and comfy and even put her feet on the chair.

Auntie a bit too close.

Cheese!

The peapod.

Auntie got Saya some castanetes.

Saya enjoying her peapod. The dogs even liked it.

Is this where the bathroom is?

Trying on uncle's slippers.

A short short nap.

All the dogs joined in.

Love her!

Saya enjoying the fish pond in the backyard.
