Zoo Day and Sewing

On Wednesday we headed to the zoo with our friends, whom will be moving to Japan in February. We are a bit sad to see them move out of country but also very excited for them as well. We made the most of our day and pushed our way through the crowds and had a pleasant zoo day. Unfortunately it was the zoo free day so everyone was there. We had a picnic and rode the train and carousel and had a blast. Saya and Kai fell asleep as we headed to the exit and woke up just in time to enjoy their cups of water at Starbucks. We got home and there was no nap afterwards. Mommy got ready for dinner soon after so that she can get to her sewing class on time. Daddy got home late so as soon as he got home mommy left.

Mommy had a great time at her sewing class but was a bit tired towards the end. I made a fabulous tote bag (reversible even) and hope to learn to sew more. It's definitely an investment but perhaps I might take a couple of classes before buying a machine.

Saya climbing on the rock wall in front of the exhibit instead of looking at the snow leopard.

Looking at some animal with Kai kun.

Foxes?

Tigers!

Giraffes!

No, it's mine! Saya won't let anyone touch the stroller when she wants to push.

Polar bear skeleton. Saya had to rub it with her hands. Mommy cringed.

Looking at the polar bear.

Not really looking at the polar bear as she focused on her Happy Baby cheese puffs.

Hiding behind a memorial for a polar bear as she pooped.

Lunch time!

Getting ready to ride the train.

Holding hands with Kai kun towards the carousel. Saya is saying "cheese".

I believe this is her excited face.

Passed out.

Kai kun is still awake.

Got home and we decided to play outside. Mommy turned her head for one second and Saya is already picking raspberries and putting them in her mouth.

Playing ramen shop.

Mommy's tote bag.
