Hiking- Lost Lake

On Sunday we went hiking around Lost Lake. It was a 1.5 mile hike but still a bit rough with uphill hiking for about 70% of the trip to the lake. We got to the lake and enjoyed some lunch and then headed back down. The river was flowing like no other and there were still some glaciers here and there. Saya had a good time and the dogs enjoyed it as well. We headed home as soon as we got back to the car so that mommy could get back in time for a baby shower.

We made it to the lake.

Two families totaling 10 came by and wanted to share our perfect spot. We had mixed feelings about this one.

Slightly irritated daddy and Saya. We hoped the other families would move on but they stuck around. Darn!

We got all the kids to move so that daddy and Saya could get a picture on the rock. Mommy loudly said, "let's take a picture" and luckily they got the hint.
