Lake Dillon Snowshoeing

Saturday morning we had some breakfast and Daddy packed up the car for our trip to Lake Dillon. We met up with our friends in Frisco at a Starbucks and went snowshoeing. Our friends gave us a pack for Saya as a present so we used that to carry her through the trail. We went to a trail called Lilly Pad Lake and it was about 3 miles long. Saya did great on the way to the lake but half way back she was eager to get out and take a nap.

Saya all ready to go on our trip up to Lake Dillon which is about 2 hours southwest of where we live.

Saya in her kid carrier pack. It's a Sherpani Wahoo which was a gift from our friends. We'll definitely use it a ton this year.

Notice how Saya is able stay in her carrier without anyone supporting her? A bit scary and mommy was close by but definitely a good carrier pack.

Everyone getting all dressed for snowshoeing. Everybody carried a kid but mommy. Daddy carried Saya and our waters.

Our friends all happy and cheery on the trail. Mommy actually was having a good time as well.

Daddy and Saya.

Saya looks somewhat content.

Trees.

Daddy going off trail for a bit of a challenge.

Mommy found Charlie Brown trees along the way.

Baby still content. She enjoyed the Nilla Wafers that her auntie brought. Now when Saya sees the pack she says "cookie".

First lake view.

Daddy and baby still happy.

Close up of baby and daddy.

Second lake view.

Heading back to the trailhead. Mommy lost her snowshoe so she was back behind a bit.

Auntie kicking up snow as she snowshoed.

Baby starting to melt down and ready to go home.
