Warm Apple Pie

After toiling in the yard picking apples (not really), Jeff decided to try and make apple pie. Found a recipe called Grandma Ople's Apple Pie, http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/grandma-oples-apple-pie/Detail.aspx, that had some good reviews. Here is the pie crust all ready (used the Betty Crocker mix).

And all the apples fresh picked from the tree and sliced up! Sprinkled with Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and some Allspice.

Mmmm... this is going to be good. I hope. Even managed to get the cross-hatch pattern going.

Came out nice. And it also tasted quite yummy!

And it's even better up close. Stop drooling please.

Next time Jeff is going to try the Betty Crocker recipe instead because it uses 7 tablespoons less butter. What that really means is that we can all eat more of it and not feel as bad.
