The 2006 Denver Holiday Blizzard

Well folks, it came, it dumped, and it left. Click on the shot of our house below for a slideshow with videos of the blizzard.

Guess I don't really have to do any winter watering of the trees and grass this month.

  1. Holy Schnikies!!! That is some serious white stuff. I'll be very interested to see what the aftermath of all this snow melt brings. Watch out for basement flooding, but I guess thats why your house sits so high up in the first place.

  3. And you want us to move there?!!! Holy shit! We would be like the Donner party by now. We'd have to cook little Noah up for breakfast! Granted that's a lot of fatty meat, but deeeee-licious.

    Merry Christmas, Neima's!!

  5. The neighbors were doing just that from the run they built from their porch... they only made it across the street though before stopping. Not many hills in this area. I bet where there are hills though, people have made some pretty cool runs. Expecting 15" more this Friday if this incoming storm keeps its pattern.
