Christmas Dinner

Jeff grilled a pork roast on the bbq for about 4 hours for our Christmas dinner. It was yummy. We then had shaved brussel sprouts with pancetta, carmelized shallots and walnuts, sweet potato gratin and the ginger pair upside down cake. Lots of food and tons of left overs.

We (okay daddy) took out all the toys and put them together so Saya could enjoy them.

Presents and More Presents

Not sure how long it took us to open up all the presents but it seemed to have gone on forever. We thought about taking a break but thought it was best keep going. Saya was a bit worn out but mommy, daddy and grandma were motivated to get through it all.

Grandma & grandpa got Saya hand puppets. Saya seems to really like the spider one the most.  I wonder why... Could it be because grandma sang the itsy bitsy spider during her visit?

The princess tent was awesome. Saya loved it.

Cookies All Gone

Christmas morning Saya realized that all the cookies were gone. She wanted to eat the last bit of crumbs on the plate. 

The dogs realized there were toys in their stockings too. 

We then opened stockings and then presents. It took us a while to get through everything and Saya was a bit overwhelmed but had a great time.

Cookies for Santa

Saya wanted to put out a plate of chocolate chip cookies and soy milk out for Santa.
