Glucose, Playground & Preschool

Today we headed into Labcorp for mommy's glucose test. It was hard to get out the door in time for the blood draw but we made it. Thank you Saya! Saya was so excited to go to Labcorp and the lady that works there was super nice to us. Saya got to hold onto a test tube and she was thrilled and didn't want to leave the office. We decided to head to a nearby playground, Big Dry Creek, to meet up with some friends. We got there and bumped into a neighbor and also a former coworker's wife. Lots of people at the playground and it was super hot so we took a lot of snack and water breaks. After a couple of hours mommy got really hot and cranky so it was time to leave. We got home and Saya was just beat and wanted to sleep but somehow I got her to go to the bathroom to wash up and eat lunch. She slept for a couple of hours and then woke up just in time for preschool open house. We headed there by 3 thirty and played till about 5 o'clock. Daddy was home and prepared dinner for us before we got home. We took it easy for the rest of the evening since Saya got so much play time and was just pooped. We watched the rest of fireman Sam and headed off to bed.
