Boulder County Fair

Today Saya and mommy had a really relaxing morning and then headed out to the Boulder County Fair. It was just a bunch of farm animals and Saya had a blast petting all the animals. Mommy in fear of the swine flu brought water and soap in the car just in case. We went through a small petting zoo and petted cows, goats and sheep. We didn't get to pet the pigs, thank goodness and then we went to the exhibition area where Saya got to make her stick pony craft. She had a great time but really tired. It was close to 95 degrees outside and mommy was just so hot so we had to stop at Starbucks for a cold treat. Saya got a bottle of OJ and mommy a coffee drink (not to worry, decaf). We got home and had some lunch. Saya was still not that tired so we played outside and then came in to cool off and then read books. Saya finally fell asleep at 3:30pm which was not a good thing but still a little rest was good. She got up just in time when daddy got home and mommy started dinner. Daddy had to head to a house warming party in Arvada so he left soon after Saya got up. Mommy and Saya had a nice dinner and then headed upstairs for a bath and then we watched a bit of Arthur before bedtime.
