Elephant Passage & See's

Today we woke up and had a pancake breakfast. We ate and then got ready to head out to the zoo to see the new elephant passage. We got reservations but we could go in anytime as a member, so it was no big deal. We headed there first to get it out of the way. We entered and looked at all the features but since there were only 4 elephants the grand space that was built for them seemed almost vast. We walked through and saw the monkey's crossing the high rope up above us. We were really entertained by them. Then we decided  to walk around the rest of the zoo and then stopped at the bathroom and then the gift shop. Saya and daddy were up on the second floor of the gift shop for a while- I bet Saya was looking at every little item. We then got to the car and then headed over to See's candies. Saya fell fast asleep in the car but woke up just when we parked. We went inside and asked exactly what the certificate allows and we decided to pack our own 1 pound box. Saya, daddy and mommy all had the time of our lives trying samples, picking out which chocolates and how many of each. We looked at all the other gift boxes and then got a catalog for home. Saya couldn't get enough and we got home for a nice leftover lunch. Saya ate all her lunch even though she ate a whole entire banana on the way back home. We played outside while daddy mowed the lawn but still no nap and we probably won't get one today. Off to Costco to do some light shopping (hopefully really light).

In the evening after dinner we all played hide-n-seek with Saya. She loves it! Then we played hide-n'seek with the dogs and they too had a great time.
