WOW Museum and Parenting

On Thursday we were going to take things easy but since we were all so tired we decided to make a quick trip to the WOW museum with friends before we headed off to nap. We got there at 9am and Saya didn't want to leave till about 11 thirty. She even got her face painted. Woo hoo! I was so proud of the kiddo as she stuck to her guns when other 8 year old kids tried to push her out of the way. Mom stepped in and said it was Saya's turn to play and Saya said it too. So great to see her stand up for herself. We played and did artwork and decided to head home. Saya was too busy to play so she didn't even eat any of her snacks or her lunch so we got home and she woke up because she was hungry. Saya got up an hour or so later and then we played with playdough and had popsicles outside. We played with the water table and rocks but it just got too hot out so we came inside. We read a ton of books and mommy started to get dinner ready since she had a parenting class at night. Saya was supposed to come along but since she was so tired it wasn't a good idea. Saya and daddy had a good time taking a bath and watching a movie until mommy got home.
