Insectival

Today we all got up in the morning and got ready to head out to Insectival at the Butterfly Pavilion. It was hot out so we tried to get in as soon as possible but not before face painting. We got there right when the lady was opening up so we were the first ones in line. Thank goodness! Saya got the most beautiful face painting we have ever gotten and then we headed inside. Saya wanted to play with bubbles but daddy was not too thrilled with soapy solution all over everyone. So we went inside and Saya got to hold Rosie and see all the creepy crawlies as usual. Then we went to sea creatures and then to see the butterflies. Saya is so not into the wings encounter area and wanted to get out asap. Though daddy wanted to see more butterflies we headed out to the gift store and then to see all the vendors. We got a ton of free candy and got to do a cockroach race. We picked one with the letter S on it's back. Then we headed outside to play some games and watch the dunk tank. Saya did well with all the games and won some prizes. Then we caught some crawdads with some hotdogs and had a blast. It got a bit too hot so we went inside and had a drink of water and then played some more in the tropical odyssey. Saya was getting tired so we thought it was time for home and lunch but we had to stop by the jumpy castle on the way out. Saya loved it and waited her turn and then got out right when she was done, without being asked. Then we stopped at a small garage sale, didn't buy and left for home and had lunch. Kiddo was super duper tired and we all took it easy.

Mommy headed out to buy some clothes for #2 and drop off a carseat. Then went grocery shopping and got gas before kiddo got up from her nap. Whew! What a day.
