Toyota Test Drive, Pho, Tanabata

Today we let daddy sleep in and mommy made a pancake breakfast for all. We ate and got ready to head out to Mountain States Toyota to test drive some 4Runners and Highlanders. Saya got a huge red balloon and had a blast. Mommy and daddy loved the new car smell and the smooth rides. Daddy fell in love with the 4Runner Trail edition and mommy the Highlander. We left with lots of options but no real money to buy so we'll wait a while longer before any commitments are made. But we liked the dealership and the little Vietnamese man helping us was really cool too and didn't push us to buy. Saya wanted to stay longer bc they had candy in a big bowl for kiddos right by the bathrooms which made things a bit easier to have kiddo try the potty. There was a popcorn machine and a kid's movie area playing Toy Story 3 and a coffee bar for adults. We could live there. Anyways, we left feeling like we want to go back when we make a final decision.
We decided to eat pho out as well since we were all hungry and it was close to lunchtime. Saya had about 3 helpings of noodles and ate pretty much all of mommy's noodles and we had to get another bowl to satisfy our little noodle loving baby. We left and got home thinking Saya would nap but she didn't feel up for it so we started doing our cleaning chores and daddy working outside picking weeds. Saya didn't feel like cleaning bathrooms and decided to go outside to pick weeds with daddy instead- I don't understand why she wouldn't like cleaning bathrooms- Must take after her mom.

It finally rained today and we had a flood in our street which is fantastic. We are hoping more rain will come our way soon so that our green plants will stay green this summer and the fires in the mountains will hopefully ease.

Was watching Keyhole TV and sure enough it was Tanabata in Japan today so we busted out our craft paper and bamboo plant and wrote down some wishes. Hopefully they will all come true:) Our poor bamboo plant is not very strong but down well holding all the wishes up for us.

Eating a ton of pho.

Tanabata time!

We decided to make a photo book of expectations at the dinner table. See how great Saya can eat when pretending;)
