Mattress Delivery

Today we stayed home to wait for Saya's mattress to be delivered. We played a bunch and pretended to fly on an airplane. Saya was so sweet she carried our suitcases for us and checked them in. She even opened doors. We rode the airplane in the closet so it was a bit tight but still lots of fun. We got the mattress around 10 thirty and Saya jumped and played on it a ton which seemed to have wiped her out. We ate lunch quickly and she was out like a light without any books and in the couch cushions asleep. She woke up around 1pm so we decided to head over to the mall to check out some backpacks and some clothes for mommy. We read a ton of books at Pottery Barn and then tried on a backpack, Saya was reluctant but tried eventually. She fit well on the small backpacks so we may just get her one for preschool. We then went to Old Navy for some clothes but they were all sold out of mommy's size so we headed home after getting some candy out of the candy machine. This was Saya's potty reward. She had candy bones and sour candy but brushed her teeth afterwards which was a relief. She was such a trooper and held onto the candy without taking a bite the entire way home, now that's some self control.

We were going to put Saya in her new bed tonight but since we need to air out the new mattress smell for 2-3 days, we decided to wait. More pictures of Saya in her last few days in the crib to come. Sad to see kiddo growing up so fast.
