Birthday Party &HHW

On Saturday Saya and mommy got up and let daddy sleep in. We made a pancake breakfast and then got ready to head out. Mommy went to the local library book sale. No, we don't need more books for kiddo but still love having lots of books to read. So mommy bought a ton of books for Saya. Spent 16 dollars but so worth the price. No book was over 1 dollar. Then mommy got back and got Saya all ready for her friend's birthday party.  Daddy headed off to the city household hazardous waste drop off appt since we've been storing this waste in our basement for a couple of years. It was time to get rid of it. We also got to get rid of some old electronics so that was nice too.

We got to the party just in time. Saya was so eager to go and give her her present. Saya played with toys and had snacks and cupcakes. She left with a pink balloon, of course. Then we got home and then had a quick bite to eat and Saya seemed a bit tired so we read books afterwards and attempted nap. But the short 2 minutes she closed her eyes in the car counted for something so we didn't get a nap till about 4pm. Mommy was tired and daddy was too. Daddy made dinner and then we had a nice evening and soon after we were off to bed. Everyone was tired.
