Princess Paradise & Swimming

Today we decided to get one more item checked off mommy's list. We decided to head to Princess Paradise in Ft. Collins to get Saya's Halloween costume. It's quite a drive but the prices are better than online we really like their costumes so we left the house around 9am and then got there in about 40 minutes. Saya had a blast trying on new costumes, princess dresses, shoes and tiaras. We then got to chose a Monstar costume that mommy loved so much and saved a bit by going to the store. They were also having a sample sale so we got a fairy costume as well. Hopefully Saya can try on the costume for dress up and what not. Saya later got super tired and just wanted her lollipop and then was ready to just try on fairy wings. We left the store and then headed to Starbucks next door and got some milk and coffee. We headed home and Saya fell asleep on the ride home. We got home and she woke up and that was the end of her nap. We played and played but she was so tired that nothing was really all that interesting. We tried about 20 stories but that wasn't working either so mommy did the dishes and Saya played in her kitchen. We got ready to head out to Paul Derda for her swimming lesson. We headed to the pool area and she saw the rocking climbing wall and was super interested in that too. We then used the family locker room and changed into her swimming suit and found her class and she jumped right in. There were 2 other girls that were in her class but they screamed and cried the entire time so Saya pretty much got more turns than the other girls. She had a blast but was super tired and hungry on the way home. Thankfully daddy was at home making dinner when we got home and a birthday present arrived in the mail. We opened the present from auntie and uncle and that kept her busy till dinner was ready. We read each book one word at a time (takes forever) and then played the Hello Kitty game too. Whew! What a day and hopefully we can take it easy tomorrow before preschool.

We watched the Secret World of Arriety tonight and Saya is really enjoying it.
