Huckleberry & Baby Shower

Today mommy met up with friends before they had their babies. We met at the Huckleberry and had a nice breakfast and wonderful conversation without the kiddos. We sat, ate and talked like no tomorrow and finally got up to let others sit down to eat. Mommy got home and got ready to make some snickerdoodles since she was craving them. Saya helped with the dough and rolled them up and sprinkled them with sugar and cinnamon. She got to eat a nice warm cookie right out of the oven and loved it. Then we had lunch and attempted nap but that didn't work. So then mommy got ready to head to her baby shower and left for a couple of hours. Mommy had a great time at the shower with great friends and wonderful conversation. Mommy got home with loads baby goodies and felt refreshed. When mommy got home Saya raided the gifts and went through each one. Daddy made udon for dinner and then we enjoyed some dessert (snickerdoodle ice cream sandwiches) and then started our bedtime routine. Daddy put Saya to bed and mommy headed to Target to get some snacks for daddy's trip and toiletries.

Hopefully this week will go by fast and not too tiring.
