Dogs & Library Walk and Bal Swan

Yesterday we had an early morning start. We decided to make kale chips in the morning and then mommy and Saya took the doggies to the library to walk around the paths. The dogs were excited to do something new and mommy was happy to be out before the hot sun started to beat down on us. We stopped at the playground for a little bit and played before heading back to the car. By this time it was super duper hot so we decided to stop at Jamba Juice for a nice cold healthy treat. Saya just loved the smoothie and ate/ drank all of it. We got home and had lunch and then we read books until nap time. It was a good peaceful day. We were going to head out to Costco and run errands in the afternoon but we just ran out of time. We ended up making a quick dinner at home and then heading out the door for our parenting class. Daddy decided to stay home and Saya and mommy headed out. This was Saya's first time in childcare but since it was with Bal Swan teachers, mommy felt comfortable there. Saya was a little bit hesistant at first since 2 kiddos started to cry. But as soon as they stopped she was fine. She had a great time and made friends and played with all the toys and even got to play in the playground. Mommy was done with her class and went to see how Saya was doing and she was wearing princess slippers and playing with timers. She was so exhausted when she got home but she mentioned how she wanted to go back which tells me she had a great time.
