Brainard Lake & Carousel of Happiness- Happy Father's Day!

On Sunday we had a fast breakfast and let daddy sleep in and then we got all packed up to go up to Brainard Lake. Mommy forgot her sweatshirt so we had to turn back and then stop for gas so it took a while to get up there. We got there around 10 thirty and we all used the bathroom and then decided to head to a trail but it seemed too long so we turned back and walked around the lake and then ate our picnic lunch. Saya found a small patch of snow so she was happy and the dogs somehow turned into water dogs and fetched sticks so it was great. We walked around a bit more and then headed back to Nederland to ride the carousel. Saya was so excited but we didn't tell her until we knew it was open. She got to ride it 2 times since the operator forgot to turn on the horns the first time. We then stopped to get a drink at a coffee shop and use the bathroom before heading home. We stopped by a dam as well and looked over and drove back home. Saya was asleep in the car but then woke up when we got home so we had a long long day. We stopped at Costco to pick up some shrimp for our dinner and then mom went to Pacific Ocean to pick up the rest of the groceries so that we can make our Thai curry with shrimp. Daddy gave Saya a butt dip to clean her up after our poop incident.
We sat down to eat but everyone was just too tired so we barely made it through dinner. We spent the rest of the night doing our bedtime routine and we were tired and beat and went to sleep.
