Dog Walk and Target

Today we decided to take the dogs for a walk before we hit high temps again. We made it out by 8am which is good for us not for the heat. It was still hot and we were steaming. We brought ice water which easily melted and turned luke warm. The dogs were hot so we stopped at the playground for Saya to play. She played a bit but the heat wasn't helping. We swang, and slid down slides. Now that she is bigger she has to stand on her knees to play with most of playgym. Gosh they grow up so fast. We got home and mommy and Saya cooled off a bit before heading off to Target. Again Saya was a great shopper and happy as a clam. We picked up some water play stuff and more for our camping trip. We got home and had a bit of lunch and then a popsicle to follow before running through Saya's new sprinker toy. She had a blast and was super tired but still didn't want to nap so we read some books and out like a light. The heat is brutal but it does definitely help with naptime.
