Zoo and Nap

Today we got ready to head to the zoo but not before a huge breakfastnik and an eating spree. Saya went to town this morning with 2 bowls of cereal and then a piece of toast and slice of ham. We headed to the zoo but mommy forgot the stroller and thank goodness our friend Beth had a double and one less kiddo today. We took things nice and slow as mommy was super tired today and dragging her feet. We didn't get to see many animals out and about but we got to ride the carousel and meet up with more friends for lunch. After lunch we headed home and Saya passed out in the car. Mommy lost all hope of a nap but when we got home after a bit of a struggle Saya napped for a while. Thank goodness! Mommy got to do dishes and prep dinner and take a little shut eye. Wonderful day and happy kiddo. Can't ask for anything more. Pasta night tonight and then off to Discovery Days tomorrow in longmont for a handmade Mother's day gift.
