Discovery Day and Mother's Day Presents

Today Saya and I headed to Longmont for Discovery Days. It was supposed to rain so we put on our rain gear and surely no rain. We got there 5 minutes late but we had plenty of time for our projects and Saya had a sleepy yet fun time. She loved the rice table and played there most of the time but not before painting 2 pictures, making a frame, a necklace and a banner. She got to play with a bunch of pink playdoh which was great too. We got instant mother's day gifts and there's nothing better than a "made by Saya" gift. We got home and had some lunch but Saya was super full and so we made a present bag for a birthday dude friend tomorrow. We did laundry and read a pile full of books and kiddo kindly took a nap for mommy. A great day and hoping for a little bit of rain so that we can stomp in some puddles later.
