The Mall and Visitors

Today we had a rough morning. We were up early and not feeling well. So we took things nice and slow and hung out for a while at home. Soon we decided to head to the mall and meet up with some friends. We went shopping at Old Navy and then headed to Starbucks for a treat. Saya was ready to run so we headed down to Pottery Barn Kids to play and then headed home. Saya fell asleep on the car ride home so I carried her slowly into the house and onto the couch. She slept for a bit and then woke up still tired and not feeling like herself. So we cried for a bit and then had lunch before heading outside to play with some bubbles. We came inside and our friend was at the orchard so they stopped by for a playdate and mommy frantically cleaned the bathrooms and picked up around the house a bit. We hung out and played and when daddy got home Saya bolted outside to help with the yardwork.

Mommy made dinner but what she thought was chili turned out to be spaghetti sauce. So we made pasta and had a late dinner. Definitely hit the spot but soon after dinner we played hide-n-seek and then started our bedtime routine.

Hopefully we'll have a better night sleep tonight. There was a bird chirping outside our window at 4am. Jeff was up and then our toddler was up at 5am. One day we'll all get to sleep in.
