Daddy Day Off- Picnic and REI

On Friday we got to hang out with daddy all day. We did a bit of gardening and then headed out to a picnic in the mountains. We stopped just outside of Boulder and had a nice picnic near the river. Saya had a great time just playing with a stick and splashing everyone. We then headed to REI to pick out some items for camping and then headed home. We took the dogs for a walk and daddy and mommy took turns passing out on the couch as Saya played and we cooked dinner. Mommy made fried rice and soup to find Saya and daddy outside playing with a bunch of kiddos. Saya also got a scooter from a neighbor and was super duper excited! The bedtime routine was quite quick since Saya didn't really sleep during the day so after bath and movie it was off to bed.
