Davin's Birthday!

Today we got up after Saya decided to join us in our bed this morning. She woke up at 5 thirty am and decided it was wake up time. The toddler clock didn't really work since it was still in her room. We had a nice pancake breakfast and daddy was nice enough to let mommy shower and wash her hair before heading to J School. We packed up and by the time we were ready to leave Saya was in tears. She was just crumbling and melting for about 30 minutes. We let her rest and calm down and tried again but still- it was not working. By the time she was up and playing with her toys it was 10am and the class was half over. Daddy showered and shaved his head and then we headed into Boulder for Davin's 2nd birthday at the JCC. All the kiddos tumbled and we had snacks and lunch.  Saya got so many sugary treats she was going non stop. We got in the car on our way home . she passed out but woke up just as we pulled up in the driveway. She insisted on not napping so we let her make her choice. Epic failure! Come dinner time and she was miserable and crumbling. After she didn't get her dessert it was non stop tears. We attempted to let her rest a bit before giving her a bath but that too was miserable. The bath was great and then we were back on schedule. Early bedtime tonight and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!
