Big Girl Bed!!!!

Today mommy had to get a lab test done so we headed to a nearby Labcorp office. Saya and mommy had a long talk and she seemed to be quite comfortable at the office. She had a drink of water and signed all of mommy's forms. She then greeted all the customers that came in through the door. She loved talking to an elderly couple and even followed them out the door when we were done. She walked up to them and said "bye bye, see you soon". The couple was super nice and made sure they said bye.

Saya then wanted to head to the library so we checked out some big girl bed books and played with toys before leaving. We then came home and then made a St Patricks Day craft before reading a ton of books and taking a nap. The talks seem to work just great and Saya slept for an hour. Yeah! Then we read more books together before we headed out to walk the dogs. We walked the dogs and then stopped at the playground. She insisted everyone there pet our dogs. We had to go home for dinner but Saya didn't want to so we had a few moments of resistance (trying to be nice here) and finally headed home in the stroller. We met up with some neighborhood kids and sure enough kiddo wants to talk to them and have a great time as they petted Ry and Bell. We finally got home and daddy was in the process of making dinner. Yeah!

We (daddy) put together Saya's big girl bed tonight. She was so excited but also wanted to play with all the tools. Kind of chaotic  but we thought it was a good idea for her to see her crib change to a toddler bed. She loved being able to get in and out but the idea of it still took awhile to kick in. Let's hope she sleeps till the sun comes up. Wishful thinking perhaps.
