Zoo Day & Gingerbread Cookies

Today Daddy worked from home as we were expecting a package that required signature. Mommy and Saya headed to the zoo with friends. Surely the one time we go to the zoo, mommy forgets the camera so we don't have any pictures. Saya had a great time and insisted she walk the entire time we were there. She got to see elephants and bears and rode the carousel. We stopped in the primate panarama for a bit and then headed off to lunch. Saya was beat by the time we got to the cafe but hung on and ate a ton of food. She started to lick everything in site so mommy gave her an apple to lick but she ended up eating the whole apple. Soon after lunch we headed home and sure enough Saya fell asleep in the car ride home. We cleaned, watched a book and then off to bed we went but she fought it and finally fell asleep around 3 thirty. Oh dear, it's going to be a long night.
