A New Friend -Grocery Shopping - Pomegranate

On Thursday Saya and mommy visted another adoptive mom and toddler at Wildgrass and had a great talk and the kids played well, still parallel playing. We had to leave to change Saya's diaper and the other mom had to run as well so we left after an hour of playing. We changed Saya in the car and then headed to King Soopers for some grocery shopping. Saya got to push her own little cart and had a blast. We got home and read some books and did a bit of laundry before lunch and naptime.

After dinner we decided to try peeling a pomegranate. We didn't really know the best way to peel one without getting stained so we looked it up online. Had no idea that peeling it underwater was the way to do it. Saya had a blast watching me peel it and then learned quickly to try one kernel and then spit out the seed. So facinating to see her learn so quickly and baba had a great time watching her over Skype.  It was a great low key day and we're ready for gymnastics tomorrow.

We got a new bubble solution at the store but it didn't really work.
