Japanese School and Friends

On Saturday we got up a bit later than usual and tried to get some breakfast before heading off to Japanese school. Daddy stayed home and cleaned for our guests while mommy and Saya went to school. Saya was more eager to get in the classroom this time. Another mom just gave her a little push through the classroom door and she was good to go. Saya participated in all the songs and dancing and then listened to the story. We played outside but Saya was a bit distracted and wanted to tickle a tree with a stick instead. We got inside and it was craft time and snack time which are her favorite activities. Soon after class was over and it was time to go home. The teacher wanted to talk to mommy for a bit so Saya hung out with the other kids in the class but she had a major poop going on and wanted some privacy. We went to the car to change into clean diapers and then headed home. We got home just in time for lunch and had some noodles and then it was time for nap. During naptime mommy and daddy made some cookies for Halloween. By the time our friends came over the cookies will be read for decoration. Soon after Saya got up we had dinner and the Yonemitsus came over before they left on their flight tomorrow. They ate dinner at our house and then we decorated cookies. Soon after we headed out on a walk outside to see some decor and came back to the house to start the bedtime routine. After the kids went to bed we all chatted and mommy and Julie stayed up past midnight to talk.

Got home after a short snooze in the car. Time to go shopping before our guests arrive. Saya got her own cart but leaves it behind when she finds something she wants.

Cookie decorating time. Saya kept putting the frosting knife in her mouth so we went through 10 of them. But the kiddos had fun especially when they dumped sprinkles all over their cookies.
