Ped Dentist and Weigh In

Today is officially mommy's first day alone with both kiddos. We had a nice fast cereal breakfast and mommy got Saya dressed right away. We did hair and got our stuff ready after feeding Meisa and pumping. We headed out to Ridgeview Dentistry and Saya got her teeth cleaned and checked. No cavities after all that candy eating and protesting teeth brushing. Thank goodness! Saya got to get two toys so she was super happy. Meisa was a quiet observer and did very well. Mommy was really worried about all the germs so we covered her carseat with a blanket. She was content.

Then we got home and had some snacks and lunch before heading out to Avista Lactation for a weigh in. We got to the hospital and decided to climb the stairs- whew that was exercise. We saw Jill and she weighed Meisa who was 5lbs 12oz which is a huge gain for us. So now mommy can back off the pumping a little at night and hopefully have some milk supply still. We'll still meet with Nicky on Wed and hopefully she will also say the same. Yeah for Meisa. Saya did well at the appt too. She was a princess and roared with the front receptionist for the remainder of the appt but still not bad at all. So proud of little Saya. We got home and washed hands and brushed teeth since Saya ate a giant lollipop. Mommy showed her a bunch of images of cavities and that seemed to have done the trick. We then played with Jenga and colored and read a few books and out went Saya. Now it's nap time for everyone including the dogs.
