Santa at McKay Landing

On Saturday we skipped Japanese school and headed over to the McKay Landing clubhouse to see Santa. Saya was very excited to see Santa until she sat on his lap- perhaps a bit uncomfortable. She told him straight out- "I want presents". She covered everything using the word "presents" instead of something specific like a "puppy". We then decorated a cookie and daddy got some coffee and we headed out of the chaos. Saya enjoyed playing in the snow outside while mommy chatted up with our neighbors. We then headed home for a quick change in clothes as Saya was super duper wet after running in the snow. We then headed up to Costco to get our greeting cards. We had to stop for a berry smooth ie for Saya as well. We got home and Saya was beat. We had lunch and then we proceeded to head upstairs for a nap. After nap Saya and daddy headed outside to play in the snow while mommy cooked dinner. We skyped with grandma, baba and auntie Shiho before milk and bedtime.
