On Thursday we got up as usual and packed our last minute items and had a nice oatmeal breakfast. We headed out the door and almost made it to the airport when we realized we forgot our stroller. Oops! We headed back home to pick it up and then returned to the airport. Jeff dropped us off at the terminal and he went to the parking lot and parked the car. Saya and I checked in our bags but it took us forever to get through security. I had to empty everything out of Saya's lunchbag and take off her shoes. I had to put her stroller in the x-ray machine and then go through screening. I got to the other side and I had to help TSA check Saya's milk and water bottle. Oh dear. Thank goodness I got a call from daddy saying he was in the security line and we waited for him to get through and headed to the gate together. We got to the gate and tagged our stroller and went upstairs to eat some lunch. Saya was super hungry but also wanted to run around. We let her do both. We got priority boarding which is after the A group and sat in the front row. The CAs were nice and Saya did really well. She did start to melt a bit but hung on. We met Shiho and Alex at baggage claim. Whew! We made it.
Saya right before we head into security.
Saya and her daddy on the train to our gate.
Upstairs in the lounge getting ready to take off running.
Running with daddy.
Saya enjoying her happy meal toy that a nice lady gave us.
Saya eating her apple.
Saya meeting her auntie Shiho for the 2nd time.
Baby, Shiho and Alex.
Everyone all smiles.
Saya testing out her peapod. We didn't think she would like it but she loved it and actually slept in it.
Saya was hot when arriving to Albany so we changed her into Shiho's shirt. She was quite happy on the doggie sofa.
