Playground, Airport, Baba & Costco

Today we had a great start to the morning and Saya was in a great mood. We decided to head to the playground and meet our friends. It was quite hot out so the kiddos weren't all that into playing. Saya had to go to the bathroom twice so that was mommy's main concern. We headed home soon after and then Saya took a short nap on the car ride home. Then we did our bathroom business and then ate some lunch before heading to the airport to pick up baba. Saya was so excited she couldn't nap the entire way. We got to the aiport thinking we were really really late but we didn't see baba till 30 minutes later. We finally found her and then got her bags and headed back to the car. Saya and baba had a great conversation the entire ride home. We unloaded luggage and then we headed to Costco. We had a great time at Costco but Saya was just a bit tired and barely hanging on so we got our berry smoothie and headed home. By the time we got home daddy was home and helped us unload. Baba brought us grilled salmon and treats from Fresno so mommy didn't have to cook tonight. Yeah! We had a nice salmon meal and manju for dessert. Saya went through baba's purse as usual and put lots of make up on baba. She loves playing with baba's make-up. Saya and baba played and played puzzles, beads and soccer but it was time for bed. Saya gave baba everything she had tonight and hopefully will sleep well tonight for a nice time at preschool tomorrow.

Valmont Bike Park, Car Washing and Air Show

Today we had quite the day and packed it all in. Saya was tired but still didn't really get to nap all that well. We had a great morning breakfast after daddy got up. Daddy was up early in the morning as Ryder threw up twice and wasn't feeling well. After breakfast we got ready and headed to the Valmont Bike Park in Boulder. We had to raise Saya's seat a bit beforehand but still it seemed to be too low. We got to the bike park and it was hot as ever. Saya had pants on just in case she fell. There was a play area that she enjoyed and then she and daddy took her Strider to the track and to the dirt track up the hill. She did pretty well for the first time but we may have to go again soon when it's a bit cooler. We headed home after lots of snacks and then stopped at Starbucks to get mommy a cool drink. We got home and Saya got up from a short snooze and then we had some lunch. After lunch we read books hoping for a nap but since we didn't get one we decided to wash the car. Daddy washed most but mommy and Saya helped. The garage was a bit dirty too so daddy took the opportunity to wash it as well. During our wash mommy slipped and fell on the stairs so we paused for a bit and then continued on with the car wash. Saya had a joyous time and got soaking wet and soapy so we had to rinse her off. Then we decided to head to the air show in Westminster. Luckily Jeff's work parking lot had a great view so we headed there and watched the fighter jet pass by. Saya at this point was too tired so we left and headed to Pacific Ocean to get some noodles for tonight's dinner. Once we got home mommy got to work making dinner and soon afterwards we had dessert and then bedtime routine.
