Museum and Errands

Today we headed to the museum with friends and I was certain that cutie would take her snooze on the way down but it was a no go. I prepared myself for a melt down at any moment and she did great. We went through 2-3 exhibits and the kiddos ran through them all. Saya ate her lunch and sat down and we stopped at the gift store on the way home. Super good day. Hoping for a nap when we got home but didn't happen. So we got the bins that we got from target and put away all the 18 months, 24 months, 2T and 3T clothing that mommy just pulled out of the drawers and threw in the closet. Whew! Now what's next. Surely kiddo is growing so fast that she doesn't fit on her changing table so that may be the next to go. But where do we put everything? Hum... Hoping a neighboring garage sale in a couple of weeks will give us the answer.
Saya wanted to play.outside so we played with her water table. She blew bubbles and sprayed the deck. Soon it was time to return books at the library. We found the books we were searching for so it's time to send them back. Then we stopped at Golden Spoon for a frozen treat. There was a family there with 6 kids so it took a while to get our turn. Saya was good and admired all the kiddos getting toppings on the side like sour gummy worms, gummy bears and butterfinger crumbs. So we had to get a little something for kiddo too. Hopefully tonight will be a early bedtime.

Ped Dentist and Shopping

Today we headed over to see Dr. Cara Mudd for Saya's 2.5 year dental appt. We talked about our visit and sure enough Saya was great. She followed instructions and wasn't fearful at all. She got stickers, bubblegum toothpaste and ops for 2 candy machine toys. They polished her teeth and flossed and even gave her a flouride treatment. No problem. The dentist and hygienist were great. We all left the office super happy and stopped by Gymboree to pick up a few things. Then we stopped at Target for some storage bins and headed home. Saya had a ton of energy today so we ate lunch outside and she played with bubbles and the water table. She got soaked again and we had to change. We played with the spray bottle and hose as well but that was short lived as mommy seemed to be the target. We came inside and read a few books before naptime. Saya napped for a bit and soon daddy was home. Mommy got dinner started and then we took the dogs for a long walk before starting our bedtime routine.

Cookies and Mall

On Tuesday Saya and mommy headed to the mall to return some clothes at Old Navy. But before we left mommy was super motivated and decided to bake some chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. Saya helped with almost every step and then we got dressed and ready to head to the mall. We ran into a classmate from a parenting class at the play area and talked while kiddos played. Then we headed to Old Navy to return our clothes. Soon it was lunchtime so we stopped to buy some lunch. We got back to the car just in time as kiddo fell asleep in the car ride home. We got back and napped a bit more before waking up to snacks and playing with the water table and getting soaked about 3 times. Daddy got home and we hung out and played till dinner time. Soon it was bedtime and we started our bedtime routine.
