Museum Nature and Science

Today we went to the Nature and Science Museum for the 2nd time. We just got the membership so we thought it was time plus we met our friends there. We had a great time for the first half but soon tiredness took over and we just had it and it was time to go after lunch. Saya fell asleep in the car and then woke up right as we pulled in the driveway. She insisted on not napping all day and didn't even rub her eyes. Sadly, I'm thinking we are getting ready to rid afternoon naps. But still tired the crankiness doesn't make anything fun. We try again to take a nap and the gas bbq blew over with high winds. I got a bit nervous (understatement) since it was still connected to the natural gas line. Jeff was out of reach and calling Excel Energy was a lost cause so I gave up and took Saya  the library to get new books. We had a good time and Saya got to play on the computers which is so fun for her.  We got home and mommy unhooked the line and closed the gas line. We decided to take the doggies for a walk and then cook dinner. We had a small but good dinner and ice cream for dessert. Soon after the bedtime routine began and Saya went to bed 30 minutes earlier. Well, hopefully.

Shopping and Library- Daddy Travels

On Sunday we had a great breakfast and then decided to head into Old Navy for some great summer deals. Saya needed some sandals and swim suits for the summer so we got on board for that. We then decided to head to the library to return 50 books we had checked out. Then we headed home and Saya decided to take a nap on the way home. She woke up just in time to say "bye-bye" to daddy and then we had some lunch. Soon after we decided to head into the mall for a haircut at Lollilocks. We went through 3 lollipops by the time we were done with the haircut. We decided after the haircut to get some more summer stuff at Children's Place and then headed back home. The way home was a bit rough as Saya wanted to play in the sand but moreso in the jumpy castle. It was a "no" but she decided to get in and start to bounce anyways. Mommy got her out and it was a scene all the way to the car. We got in the car and had a talk all the way home. Saya decided to watch videos as mommy cooked dinner. We had a nice meal, which Saya ate all of, and then decided to take the dogs for a walk. After our walk we had a nice ice cream cone treat and then started the bedtime routine after bath.

J School- Mommy's Addiction & Sausage on a Stick

Today Saya woke us all up and we had a snake pancake breakfast before heading off to J School. Saya had a good time and actually enjoyed it today. She participated in most activities and even decided to sit down with the other kiddos.
On the way to J School we saw some signs for a garage sale. Yup, it's that time of year again and mommy's  addiction started. So we stopped and got Saya some Tangled figurines for 2 dollars. Thank goodness daddy wasn't mad when we got home. The lady who sold it to us was a bit sad as they got them at Walt Disney World but it was time to let them go. Saya had no interest in them until we got in the car and headed home. She was so happy and proud she wanted to show daddy badly.
We had a nice lunch and then headed out to King Soopers for a bit of shopping before daddy heads out tomorrow. Soon we got home and it was time for a nap.
After nap we talked to grandma and grandpa and took the dogs for a walk and stopped at the playground. Saya gave daddy a bit of a work out as she headed over to the 2nd playground on the way back home. We got home and daddy made us dinner while mommy and Saya read books and played. Daddy made chicken apple sausages and homeny. We thought about putting the sausage on a stick for Saya and wah-la. She ate all of it! Now we are going to try everything on a stick:)
We rode Saya's tricycle all around the block which felt like it took 5 hours but it was only really 20 minutes. We got home for our bedtime routine and Saya had her Tangled figurines all ready as she watched the movie. Too cute!
