Toddler Group and Pink Milk

Today we visited the toddler group and had a great time. It was completely different today as all the toddlers were all over the place. Just a bit unique since normally we all sit in a circle and the kiddos play more with toys, unlike today. Saya still wanted to play outside so we ran down a few dirt paths but mommy was getting way too hot so we got in the car and headed to the Golden Spoon for a icy treat. Saya got a sample of course leaving mommy with nothing but a take home quart. We got home and she was still super hot so I hosed her down with the hose, which seemed to have made things a bit better and she was nice and cool. We got inside and had some lunch and soon after mommy made some homemade pink milk for Saya, just like Charlie and Lola. Pretty content, Saya fell asleep for a nap after reading 10 books.

Museum and Sculptures

Today we headed to the Lean'n Tree Western Art Museum in Boulder with our friends.. It was wonderful to stroll through the galleries and see all the different paintings and sculptures. We mostly paid more attention to the paintings. Saya was eager to get out of the stroller and walk around but as it was a museum it wasn't a good thing to do. We walked around the first and 2nd floors and then walked outside. Saya was starving when we got out as we had our breakfast around 6 thirty. She had a rice ball before we went inside and then another when got outside. She had a great time walking up and down the hill and occassionally you would hear "I want to lay down". But we still made it through most of the sculptures and then headed home. The sun was started to beat down on us and though we had a ton, 3 layers, on it was still not a good idea since Saya is still on the mend. We got home for lunch- Saya drank an entire box of smoothie and absolutely loved it. We read books and played a bit more before naptime. After nap daddy came home and our nightly routine begins. Tomorrow will be a fun day as well.

Napping before we start our activity.

I want to lay down. Saya must have been super tired still.

American bison.

A gear horse. Saya had to play with the sign.

Saya carring away the "do not climb sign". I wonder if she just wanted to climb and have others do as well.

Rattle snake.

It's a bunny.

This one you can climb- a saddle.

At home with daddy changing Mimi-chan's diaper.

Taking Mimi-chan up for a nap.

After a diaper change and nap Saya decided to put a bib on Mimi-chan as well.

Butterflies and Costco

On Sunday we had a great morning start and headed to the Butterfly Pavilion. We even made it to the storytime which was great but we couldn't stay for long as someone was too eager to see the creepy crawlies and butterflies. We had lunch there and headed home. Saya was tired and so were her parents so we went home and   napped for a bit and then headed off to Costco for some shopping. We came home and met our new neighbors and then started dinner. It was a wonderful day and we had a great weekend.

Grocery shopping and horse ride.

Off to the butterfly pavilion.

I think this is a moth but thought it was super pretty.

Tropical Odyssey. Daddy was nervous to let Saya play with all the kids coughing and sneezing all over the place. But we had to let her play.

At Costco enjoying her smoothie. She will ask for it back as soon as you start to take a sip.
