Pool Playdate

Today our friends came over for a playdate at the pool. All the kiddos enjoyed the pool although the slight breeze made it a bit chilly to change outside. The kids seemed a bit tired afterwards and hoping they will take a good nap afterwards.

Getting ready to head to the pool. Saya is doing the opposite of packing-unpacking.

At home with friends relaxing and playing before we head to the pool.

Got back from the pool and ate her 2nd blueberry muffin. She then finished a whole slice of grilled vegetable pizza.

Yummy! Crust first of course.

More outside play- Saya checking out the bees that love these purple flowers.

Bubble wand time. Not much success as she spilled most of the solution on the grass.

Hiking- Lost Lake

On Sunday we went hiking around Lost Lake. It was a 1.5 mile hike but still a bit rough with uphill hiking for about 70% of the trip to the lake. We got to the lake and enjoyed some lunch and then headed back down. The river was flowing like no other and there were still some glaciers here and there. Saya had a good time and the dogs enjoyed it as well. We headed home as soon as we got back to the car so that mommy could get back in time for a baby shower.

Enjoying the huge river.

Cheese!

Does daddy know where we are going?

View during hike.

Dogs are handling it pretty well.

More river.

Crossing the bridge and Saya fell asleep.

River. Can't believe how much water there is.

Don't fall in mommy!

We made it to the lake.

Two families totaling 10 came by and wanted to share our perfect spot. We had mixed feelings about this one.

Daddy and Saya enjoying the view.

What's over there?

Mommy and Saya enjoying lunch and the view.

Family picture!

Slightly irritated daddy and Saya. We hoped the other families would move on but they stuck around. Darn!

We got all the kids to move so that daddy and Saya could get a picture on the rock. Mommy loudly said, "let's take a picture" and luckily they got the hint.

Heading back.

Saya found a huge rock.

Cherry Blossom

On Saturday we headed downtown to take Saya to the Denver Cherry Blossom festival. She got to see some JAs in Denver and we met up with a couple whom we met through our agency. We ate and walked around the booths outside. There were performances but it was too hot to really pay any attention so we got some snow cones and headed home.

Jinbei time.
