Play and Pool

Today we took the dogs for a walk and stopped at the playground. Not only did Saya have fun but mommy and daddy did too. We got home just in time to get ready for the HOA pool party. It was a bit cold for the pool so we just ate and met other neighbors. We got home and played for a bit and soon it was nap time. Mommy headed to Costco and our friend stopped by to invite us to their house to see their finished basement.  Daddy got us a new outdoor umbrella since ours broke 2 years ago. Soon after daddy got home we went to look for a grill at Home Depot and Sears- no luck. Saya loved riding the lawn mowers though. After dinner we finished Monsters Inc.

Butterfly Pavilion

Today we had chocolate pancakes and headed to the Butterfly Pavilion with our friends. Saya had a great time and took a short nap in the car but was all ready for lunch and play when we got home. We took the dogs for a walk and played with bubbles and it was nap time. We also headed to Golden Spoon for dessert. Yummy! Saya loves to dig her spoon deep down the bowl to grab as much as she can.

Chocolate pancakes by momma. Just one tsp of cocoa powder in the mix puts a smile on baby.

Dory, Nemo and Marlin.

Saya got her friend to climb up the steps with her to see the fishies.

On Thursday we headed to the library and then to the playground afterwards to meet some buddies. Saya had a blast and was super tired when we got home. She ate lunch and took a nap.

A Little Shopping

On Wednesday Saya and I went shopping. We started off at ARC thrift store and then to Pacific Ocean.  We decided to try new spoons for Saya as the ones we had just didn't work with soups. Then we headed to King Soopers before we headed home for the day.
In the afternoon our friends stopped by and Saya got to play with her friend who is about 10 years her senior. We took the dogs on a walk to the big playground where there were lots of older kids.  She had a great time.

Piano time.

Fried rice with new spoon. It's working.

Yummy hummus. Forget the cracker-add more hummus please.

Toddler Group

Today we went to toddler group in the morning. Saya seemed really sleepy and fell asleep in the car on the way over. Saya was a bit overwhelmed since we were having a baby shower for our mediator. We got home and Saya wanted to hang out for a bit but soon went down for a nap. Daddy got home early so that we can get our fingerprints done so we headed to Broomfield Commons. We got home and it was time to start dinner. Saya ate like a champ, we're hoping she's back to her normal self again. After dinner we took a stroll outside to the front park to see a duck couple. They were so cute we had to go see them. We hope they are mating and we'll see baby duckies soon. Saya got back and chose to watch Monsters, Inc. What a great movie! Good nite!

Asleep in the car on the way to toddler group.

Playing with a friend.

Ready for the library summer program.

Saya wants a balloon too. We had one but it got released into the sky when Saya sat in her carseat. I asked Saya what happened to the balloon and she said, "bye bye".
