Britax Boulevard CS is Officially Installed in the Car

It's official- the new carseat is now installed in the car. Saya seems to like it but it's a bit difficult now to get her in and out of the car. Plus, she's getting super tall so it's even more of a challenge. But we love her and hope this seat keeps her nice and safe. It has a click and safe feature so that we know exactly when the right amount of restraint is placed on the straps. We never knew how snug the straps had to be.

31 Flavors to Celebrate 31 Weeks

We decided to take Saya to Baskin Robbins last night to celebrate Saya being 31 weeks old (ok, she's now 32 weeks). Mommy wanted a double scoop on a sugar cone so that's what we got. We got Rocky Road and Jamoca Almond Fudge, yummy!

Saya was a bit sleepy as it was past her bedtime but she still took a picture with us. Our sweet Saya!

Saya's First Brewery Tour

There are many breweries in Colorado so we decided to take Saya to Avery Brewery in Boulder. It's a small brewery but daddy loves their beer so we decided to go. Saya was well behaved and loved looking around. We didn't quite make it through the tour as it was time for baby to eat but we had a great experience. Next time mommy will be trying some samples too! 20.5 more years till Saya can try one herself:)

Ryder and Bella's Birthday Present & Cake

Another year has passed and Ryder and Bella will be celebrating their 6th and 5th birthdays. I decided to do something special for them this year. I went to Hobby Lobby and got them T-shirts and some iron-ons. Here they are in their new shirts.

I baked a cake for our two furbabies and bought some Frosty Paws.  They loved it!

There is also an egg hunt put on by our neighbors for all the little ones in the neighborhood. We decided we should attend this one too as it's right across the street. We never got to participate as we didn't have a little one but this year we had a blast!

It was a bit windy outside so we had to keep Saya's non matching hat on to protect her little head from the harsh winds.

McKay Landing Easter Party

Somehow I ended up getting all the food at Costco. Jeff helped carry everything for me. Thank goodness! It's hard carrying loads of breakfast items with baby in tow.

Here is all the bakery items from Costco all in our house awaiting to be eaten. There's danishes, muffins, cinnamon rolls and croissants. The house smelled yummy for the night.

Saya was pooped after preparing for the party at 8am, egg hunting and then eating breakfast with mom and dad.

We had to take a picture with the McKay Landing Easter bunny. A bit scary looking if I may say so. Saya didn't even cry. So proud of our little one:)

Easter Preparation

We got Saya two dresses for Easter and Shiho got her an Easter basket. We decided to take a few photos of Saya.

Saya's 7 Month Birthday

How time flies! Saya turned 7 months old yesterday! It's been a crazy week so we didn't do anything special but just wanted to mark her monthly birthday. We will be celebrating Easter this weekend and hopefully she can enjoy the egg hunt. Daddy and I will enjoy the chocolates and candy stuffers:)

Saya got her Blue Frog

Saya was so proud that she was able to reach and grab her Blue Frog.

Saya Sitting Up

Saya started sitting up a couple days ago. She can sit up on her own for a little bit with her arms out to the side. If she gets distracted and turns her head she topples over. She's getting better everyday.

Saya Growing Up

Saya is growing everyday and I feel that she is becoming more and more of a toddler than a baby. So I had to take some pictures of her in diapers before she gets any older.

Jumperoo Crisis

This is a bit confusing so let me start from the beginning. We initially got Saya the Fisher Prices Rainforest jumperoo and we loved it as did she. Just recently she got her arms stuck in one of the toys so I called Fisher Price and they said to return the seat of the product for a full refund so we can purchase a different jumper. For safety reasons, we decided to send the jumperoo seat back and wait for the refund. To keep Saya occupied I bought the Baby Einstein Jumper. We hated it and so did Saya. She would rather play with the tags on the seat than with any of the toys. So then I called Fisher Price to get our seat back so that we can keep the Rainforest Jumperoo but they said the couldn't give it back to us. Now we had two jumperoos, one without the seat and another that we hated. So then we had to get another jumperoo from Fisher Price called the Precious Planet Jumperoo and she seems to enjoy it more. Now we have 3 jumpers in our house. I now have to return the Baby Einstein Jumper back to Babies R Us. Whew with that being said, here is Saya enjoying her new Jumperoo.

Bye Jumperoo, Hello BE Activity Jumper

We had to say good-bye to the Jumperoo as Saya was getting her arm stuck in one of the toys. Definitely not safe and we had to get her a different entertainer, the Baby Einstein Musical Activity Jumper. We miss the Jumperoo! Saya is still getting used to her new toy.

New Carseat!

Saya's new carseat arrived today! We got it in the fabulous cowmooflage. I hope Saya likes it:) It's gigantic compared to her infant carseat, but I am sure it's just as safe. The infant carseat only supports babies till they are 30 inches in height, as Saya is growing relatively quickly in height, it was time. Bye-bye infant carseat, it was nice having you. Now it's time to get the convertible carseat in the Subaru somehow.

Staying Inside

It's cold today so the entire family is staying insided, including Jeff who is working from home. Saya is playing with her toys and having a good time.

Since daddy is home, Saya and daddy get to play during the day too.
