Snowy Sunday

In the afternoon, the snow began to fall and we enjoyed the warm and cozy indoors. We put a bucket out on the deck to catch the snow and Saya loved just sticking her hands outside to catch some as well. We roasted beets that night and couldn't believe how good they were. They taste just like baby corn.

Saya enjoying the snow from the living room.  We thought it would be light snow but we saw some huge flurries coming down.

We put out Saya's bucket to try to catch some snow.

If only you can see her face. She was loving it. If we would have let her, she would have been dancing on the deck.

A nice full bucket of snow. Look at that smile.

Let's see what's inside.

Dumping snow on the table.

Sunday Pancakes

Sunday morning we woke up and Saya got animal imprinted pancakes for breakfast. We then went to Muttz to get dog food. Ryder and Bella loved this trip as they got to sniff everything in sight. Hopefully they will make up their minds on what they want for their birthday present. We got home and Saya helped mommy and daddy with a bit of spring cleaning and then decided to take a nap.

Mini pancakes for Saya.

Drum playing book. Saya loves this and hasn't stopped playing with it since yesterday.

Saya being shy about her new outfit.

How about a ladybug for Ry and Bell?

How about a bone?

Snack time!

Going upstairs to help mommy and daddy vaccum and put things away. We also opened all our windows to let in some fresh air.

Relaxing Saturday & Dog Walking

On Saturday, we took the dogs to the Broomfield Trails and walked for about 2 miles under the warm sun. The dogs were tired and so were we. Saya took a short nap but still seemed quite sleepy. We did laundry and tried to clean up around the house a bit. A couple of packages arrived from baba and we had fun opening them and playing with them. Vietnamese bun for dinner.

Checking out her laundry.

Move out of the way.

Saya looks so much like a toddler now with her shirt and jeans.

All ready for our walk.

Doggies are excited to be in a new place.

"Open dis!" As she cried and screamd for us to open the boxes we took a short break with a milk bottle and let her calm down before we opened dis.

Happy as a clam.

Saya loved picking out everything from the boxes.

Everyone being lazy resting on the couch.

Mommy tried to make bun. Fish sauce dip was horrible so we settled for Hoi sin.

Watching Tangled before bed.

Zoo Day

Today was supposed to be in the 70's so we all decided to go to the zoo. We arrived only find that there was no parking and crowds of people were overwhelming. I asked the zoo employee why there were so many people and he simply said it was spring break. So we tried to get through the crowds of people with 4 kiddos in tow and deal with the hot sun beating down on us. We left the zoo walking the death march and finally got home. Saya was beat and so was he mommy. We had a good time but next time, we're passing on the zoo during spring break.

Saya waiting patiently as mommy gets packed up for the zoo.

Kiddos trying to see over the cement wall. Thank goodness giraffes are tall.

Lunch time. Saya didn't eat as she wanted to run everywhere so I put her in the stroller to eat. Not successful.

Saya and friend running all over the grassy area.

Looking at the elephants. Saya attempting to eat her sandwich but again not successful.

Wagon time!

Playing on the floor with mommy. Someone is really tired and needs to rest up. A total of 40 minutes of napping today.
