Today we did much needed laundry and washed Saya's new mittens. She didn't keep these new ones on for very long either.

Saya returning her favorite books at the library. You can only renew books so many times. It was time.

Mommy had to put back all the books Saya pulled from the shelves.

Yogurt Anyone?

Saya and I stayed in this morning because it was a bit cloudy and chilly outside. We played in the kitchen and for some odd reason she got the kitchen rug and dragged it all over the house. We also finished a big tub of yogurt so I let her play with the container and she liked it for about 5 minutes.

Off to Work

On Monday Saya helped daddy get ready for work. She brought him his lunch box so he doesn't forget it on his way out.

Saya and I went to the mall to do a little work ourselves. We found an ornament personalization kiosk and Saya loved playing with the doggie ones. 

Saya picked one out that looked just like Ryder and Bella.

Relaxing Day

Sunday was just a day to relax. We took our morning stroll and Saya had a great time. We did a lot of house stuff and ran out to Costco for some shopping.

Christmas Lights

Today we visited our friends in Boulder for brunch and had a wonderful time. So much fun!

After dinner we headed out to see Christmas lights around the neighborhood. Ryder and Bella joined in on the fun.

Saya started the day by pulling her ladybug.

She also dragged her jacket as well.  The dragging of objects seem to be the theme of the day.

Yeah for Christmas lights. We found 3 houses that went all out on decorations we had to take pictures. If only Saya would sit still.

Ryder and Bella thought that we were going somewhere for them to play and got all excited. Tomorrow we definitely have to take them out to play.

Zoo

Today we went to the zoo with a friend and her daughter. Even though it's December it was 65 degrees outside and a perfect time to go to the zoo. It was slightly breezy in the morning but died down in the afternoon. We had lots of fun and Saya got a bit of exercise walking around.

Geese! Saya was chasing after the geese while mommy was worried she was going to pick up poop.

It's not a real elephant Saya. It's just cardboard but she still liked it just the same as the real ones.

Lorikeets. Could you believe we actually went in the aviary? Mommy hates birds but sucked it up and went in so Saya could get to see birds up close. Several of them flew really close to our heads but really gentle.

Baking Dog Food

Saya loves to put dog food in different containers. This morning she chose to play with baking pans.

Gifts from Ba Ba

Today we received packages from Ba Ba. Saya was so excited she pressed up against me while I opened the boxes. She got a toy, which we will wrap and put under the tree. She also got lots of nori, her own plate, cup and bowl, hiking pants, origami  paper, shoes and candy. She enjoyed pulling each item out of the box and carrying it around the house.

Saya and Her Hose

Today Saya played with the hose in the backyard. There was a little bit of water still remaining in the hose and she loved playing with the small puddle. Mommy didn't really care too much that her clothes were getting dirty, ok yes she did but kept her cool.
